Smart Fitness Goal
I want to improve my mile time to 6:30 (15 seconds from last time) by the second quarter mile run, by practicing running and building up agility, so I can do better in the mile. My reward will be that I would be happier that I got a better time than last.

Project Adventure Game
1. The name of our game was called "Extreme Football". The rules are that you can't move once you get the ball, you can throw and intercept, and in order to score you have to drop and kick the ball into a soccer goal.
2. The challenge was that everyone had a different game, and no one wanted to decide on majority, so we just did a random pick as no one could decide and chose this game.
3. The benefit of working together was that there were a variety of ideas, so we had a lot (but too much) to choose from.
4. First of all, we found the game was too dangerous with the drop kicks, so we changed it to that you would just throw the ball. In addition, we had trouble picking so we problem solved and randomly chose a game, which worked out in the end.

Digital Life Pledge
1.What are your favorite things about social media?
Some of my favourite things about social media are that you can communicate with your friends, without actually having to be there.
2. What do you not like about social media?
When you need to discuss something private, you can't say anything on Skype, Facebook (etc.) because other people could easily see what you write or sent it to other people. Also, other people can send fake messages that were created of you.
3. Give an example of a challenge/problem/sticky situation you’ve had using social media?
I haven't had much of a problem with social media because I barely use it much, but there was one time when a fake Skype message about me was posted, and it was travelling around pretty quick.

4. How did you solve this problem?
I spread the word that it was fake and just asked the people to stop, and it stopped.
5. What are some of the upsides and downsides of using digital media to communicate with your friends?
Some upsides of using digital media are that you can talk to your friends even though they are in a different country or just aren't available to come. Some downsides are that you're not actually talking to the person yourself, so they can easily say fake things, or post messages that are not very nice, because they are not with you at that moment.
6. On a scale of 1 to 10, how big a role does digital media (Internet, texting, video games) play in your life? Probably 2, I don't use social media much.

7. Some aspects of my digital life that I would like to improve are that I research on things like cricket instead of doing my homework, and the "digital life pledge" would be that just to not get distracted and give myself a small time limit to check up on the scores from a night ago.

What I Learnt From Nutrition Unit
What I learnt about fats is that there are many different types of unhealthy and healthy fats. One type of good fat is monounsaturated fat, and polyunsaturated fats, which are beneficial to your body. However, there are also a lot of bad fats which are trans-fat, and saturated fats.
What I have learned about sugar is that there is more than you expect in all foods. In Mountain Dew, there are 16 teaspoons of sugar, which means that you are taking your whole day’s dose of sugar in one hit. Sugar also gives you a high, which causes you to feel happy and full of energy, but when it goes past a certain point, you get a low and become tired. I also learnt that sugar comes from carbs too.
I think my snack was healthy as it had no sugar and low salt, and very low oil, and the oil that I used was olive oil. In addition, the filling (which was moroccan beef mince by the way) had barely any oil and had quite a bit of vegetables in it.
When I choose a snack I sometimes think about how healthy/unhealthy it is, but it actually rarely comes to my mind. For example, when I am drinking a soft drink or a bag of Doritos, I sometimes think about it if I eat too much, but if it is just once in a while I never think about it.
I think food is meant to be eaten with other people as when you eat you can have time to talk and socialise with other people. Usually, people get really busy on the weekdays, and if families always have dinner together, it is probably the only times during the week that they can talk.

Aiden's Wellness/Fitness Blog Post 2014
3A. My wellness wheel would run pretty smoothly, but the psychological wheel would trip it up.
3B. I am most well in the physical section, as I really exercise a lot and do many things.
3C.I am the least well in psychological, as, as I don't really do the best I can sometimes.
3D. I would want to make my Physical wellness better and get it to a five, by getting more sleep every night.
These five benefits of exercise caught my attention:

Soccer outside: 1 hour
| None | None | None | Soccer with my brother - any amount of time | Cricket - 2 hours Soccer with brother -1 hour | Soccer - 1 hour |
These five benefits of exercise caught my attention:
- Makes body more agile.
- Enhances immune system.
- Strengthens the heart.
- Improves posture.
- Enhances quality of sleep.
One benefit I want to improve on is to enhance my quality of sleep, as I usually get tired during the day. In my opinion, I think that I am not getting enough exercise, but it is better than before, where I didn't do anything at all. If I need to make some changes, it would be to get more exercise, and I would do that by doing an intramural after school. I will also maintain it by doing it every week.Exercise helps you maintain physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.

Basketball
I demonstrated a pass, pivot, and a spin during the video, for example when I was in trouble from Thomas, I quickly passed to Ben, and he tried to shoot the ball. An example of a pivot is when he was walking up to defend me, and I spun, around, pivoted, but then got the ball stolen off me.
I can improve my accompanying and evading movements by making sure to pass better, and also to do more cut-fakes, as I didn't do many of them.

My Plate Lunch
This is the my plate lunch presentation with a list of all the healthy lunches we have.
Nutrition Goal
My nutrition goal is to drink at least 8 cups of water a day because I drink next to nothing and feel lethargic sometimes, so drinking water is key to my health.

Sit and Reach Reflection
.
What went well - we worked together very well and got a lot done. Additionally, it was really fun and we had a lot of fun.
What I learnt - great exercises and that a lot of practice will come in handy
What I could do differently - come with a lot more exercises as I only came with 4.
