Supporting of Characters
In the book The One and Only Ivan, the elephant Stella clearly is a main supporting character. Before she is thrown into the rubbish bin with the forklift, she does everything to protect and keep company with Ruby. Additionally, Stella will do anything to keep Ruby happy, as she does not want her to go through the same experience as her. This character clearly has an unheard voice in this story as when Mack and his team through out the elephant, they don't even consider Stella's thoughts and actions towards the date.
Parellel Writing
The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate clearly depicts a main character (the gorilla Ivan) that wants his voice to be heard in the world. When Ivan drew a picture for Ruby, he was trying to communicate to the humans to give then a new home in the zoo. This clearly illustrates that Ivan wants to be, not just like the humans, but to be able to communicate to them and to tell them his wish for Ruby. Ivan's situation is extremely similar to the character Melody in the book Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper. Melody desperately wanted to talk and express her ideas to others so she could fit into the group. Both Ivan and Melody realized eventually that they could, in the end, find a way to express themselves, either by the voice machine or the pictures that Ivan drew for Ruby.

Comparing and Contrasting Books
First of all the main differences is that the two books are written differently - the first book called Caesar Rodney is written about a man, and Sybil’s Night Adventure is written about a girl. Even so, both books are written in 3rd person, and is a second source. Sybil is about an adventure in the night, however the book Caesar Rodney is about adventure, but not in a more “be there” way. The book Sybil is about proving yourself right, and on the other hand, Rodney is about adventure to go to places.

WW2 Statistics
Since Poland had the most dead, Poland has a lot of Jews, so there are not many Polish Jews left in Poland. Sweden, which was not on the list, must have remained fairly neutral, so the Germans must have wanted nothing from the Swedish. Germany clearly had no empathy for Jews - they even killed German Jews. In Singapore, prices rose enormously. Although Quinine rose the least - $15, it was not as scarce as Vitamin B2 pills, which rose 45,000 dollars. This shows that, since 1945, Singapore was a extremely poor country, prices for food extremely high.

Push and Pull Factors
Here are my push and pull factors for Singapore and Colonial America. Doing this assignment, I learnt a lot about why different groups of people migrated to both Singapore and America. People mostly migrated to Singapore for free trade, while people migrated to America to for religious freedom.
