Aiden's Wellness/Fitness Blog Post 2014

3A. My wellness wheel would run pretty smoothly, but the psychological wheel would trip it up.
3B. I am most well in the physical section, as I really exercise a lot and do many things.
3C.I am the least well in psychological, as, as I don't really do the best I can sometimes.
3D. I would want to make my Physical wellness better and get it to a five, by getting more sleep every night.

These five benefits of exercise caught my attention:
  • Makes body more agile.
  • Enhances immune system.
  • Strengthens the heart.
  • Improves posture.
  • Enhances quality of sleep.
One benefit I want to improve on is to enhance my quality of sleep, as I usually get tired during the day. In my opinion, I think that I am not getting enough exercise, but it is better than before, where I didn't do anything at all. If I need to make some changes, it would be to get more exercise, and I would do that by doing an intramural after school. I will also maintain it by doing it every week.Exercise helps you maintain physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.

Investigation 1 Blog Post

I have found that changing a percentage to a ratio has made a lot of ads seem much clearer if there is a large difference or the huge percentage difference. As there could have been just 3 people voting, and if one person says no and two people say yes, it is automatically a 50% difference, but there is not much difference in the number of people.

Part to part ratios are ratios which compare one part to another part, whilst part to whole ratios compare the whole thing to one part.

You can scale or use equivalent ratios to solve a proportion by making both a fraction, then making the denominators equal to compare them properly.

You can scale or use equivalent ratios to find out if 9/11 of a packet or 6/7ths of a packet is more, and choose the one that is more.
