Don't Laugh at Me This song evoked memories of when I was bullied in my old school when a kid in my class started to point at me and whisper my "bad points", and then, when I hear him, he says, and says " I'm talking about someone else, or , Whatever.
The descriptive story “Rules” by Cynthia Lord is about a teenage girl named Catherine that has an autistic brother, David, that is very annoying. The book has a lot of powerful messages that evoke a lot of memories. An example of a powerful moral is not to overreact in a situation that is embarrassing, otherwise you will look silly. An example is when David screamed "No toys in the fish tank!" and Catherine made a big scene in front of her friend, making herself look silly. Another important moral is NOT to overlook friendship and to not be too overbearing. A piece of evidence for that moral is when Catherine was a little too overexcited and started too make "first impressions" matter too much. A very important moral in the story is not to ignore people who have disabilities, showing the need for love, value, and care. Evidence for that is when the "stupid speech woman" (speech therapist) believed and acted as though Jason, a boy who was unable to speak and was on a wheelchair, did not understand anything.
